These General Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by DetailMyAutoUp ("Company," "we," "us") to its clients ("Client," "you") in the area of professional car detailing, paint protection, and automotive care services in Canada.

By engaging our services, whether through our website, in-person consultation, or telephone contact, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms form the entire agreement between you and DetailMyAutoUp regarding the use of our professional detailing services.

Our services are exclusively directed towards professional automotive care and are provided by qualified technicians with extensive expertise in car detailing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, and paint protection film installation.


2. Services

DetailMyAutoUp provides comprehensive professional car detailing services including but not limited to:

2.1. Exterior Detail Packages: Complete exterior cleaning including wash, clay bar treatment, paint correction, polishing, waxing, and tire shine for showroom-quality results.

2.2. Interior Detail Packages: Thorough interior cleaning including deep vacuuming, leather conditioning, fabric protection, dashboard treatment, and comprehensive sanitization.

2.3. Ceramic Coating Services: Professional application of premium ceramic coatings for long-lasting paint protection, enhanced gloss, and hydrophobic properties.

2.4. Paint Protection Film Installation: Expert installation of clear protective films to high-impact areas, safeguarding paint from stone chips, scratches, and environmental damage.

2.5. Paint Correction Services: Multi-stage paint correction to eliminate swirl marks, scratches, and paint defects, restoring paint clarity and depth.

2.6. Premium Full Detail: Comprehensive packages combining interior and exterior detailing with protection services for complete vehicle care.

All services are provided with the highest professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring exceptional results and complete client satisfaction.


3. Professional Standards and Qualifications

Our team consists of certified detailing technicians with extensive experience in paint correction, ceramic coating application, and paint protection film installation. We maintain the highest professional standards in all aspects of our service delivery.

All service recommendations are based on vehicle condition assessment, paint analysis, and comprehensive technical evaluations. While we exercise professional judgment and use quality products, we cannot guarantee specific durability periods beyond manufacturer specifications.

We adhere to all applicable Canadian regulations regarding business operations, environmental compliance, and consumer protection laws. Our services comply with provincial and federal automotive service requirements.


4. Client Responsibilities and Obligations

Clients are required to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding vehicle condition, service requirements, and specific preferences
  • Respond promptly to requests for information or clarification regarding service procedures and recommendations
  • Ensure vehicle is accessible for service delivery and maintain adequate insurance coverage during service periods
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding vehicle ownership, registration, and operation
  • Provide timely payment for services as outlined in service agreements

Clients must disclose any specific requirements, concerns, or preferences that may affect our ability to provide optimal detailing services.


5. Fees and Payment Terms

5.1. Service Fees: Our fees are based on the type and scope of detailing services required. Detailed pricing is provided in our service menu and individual estimates.

5.2. Payment Schedule: Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed. Deposits may be required for large projects or premium services.

5.3. Additional Costs: Clients are responsible for any additional services requested beyond the original scope, including specialized treatments or correction of excessive wear.

5.4. Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers. All payments must be in Canadian dollars unless otherwise agreed.

5.5. Late Payment: Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts. We reserve the right to withhold vehicle release for accounts with outstanding balances.


6. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, vehicle preferences, transaction details, and collection strategies. This confidentiality extends to our network of dealers, collectors, and service providers.

Client information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to provide requested services or as required by law. We implement comprehensive data protection measures to safeguard client privacy.

Clients similarly agree to maintain confidentiality regarding our methods, supplier networks, and proprietary processes used in vehicle curation services.


7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Professional Services: Our liability is limited to the professional services we directly provide. We are not liable for the condition, performance, or future value of vehicles we assist in acquiring.

7.2. Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third parties including dealers, transporters, inspectors, or other service providers, although we exercise due diligence in their selection.

7.3. Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7.4. Market Conditions: We are not liable for changes in market conditions, vehicle availability, or pricing that may affect transactions or acquisitions.


8. Refund Policy

8.1. Service Satisfaction Guarantee: We are committed to client satisfaction and will work diligently to address any concerns regarding our professional detailing services.

8.2. Completed Services: Services that have been completed are generally non-refundable, as materials have been used and labor has been provided. However, we will address legitimate quality concerns.

8.3. Service Cancellation: Services may be cancelled before work begins with full refund of any deposits paid. Cancellation after work has started will result in charges for work completed and materials used.

8.4. Quality Issues: If services do not meet our published quality standards, we will re-perform the work at no additional charge or provide appropriate compensation.

8.5. Deposit Refunds: Deposits are refundable if cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before scheduled service. Same-day cancellations may forfeit deposit amounts.

8.6. Warranty Claims: Services performed with specific warranties will be re-performed or refunded according to warranty terms if defects occur within the warranty period.

8.7. Dispute Resolution: Any refund disputes will be handled through our internal review process first, followed by mediation if necessary. We maintain comprehensive documentation of all services performed.


9. Intellectual Property

All proprietary techniques, service methodologies, and process documentation developed by DetailMyAutoUp remain our intellectual property. Clients receive non-exclusive rights to use information provided specifically for their vehicle care.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize our proprietary processes, techniques, or methodologies without express written consent.


10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, trade restrictions, transportation disruptions, or global market conditions affecting automotive trade.


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.


12. Modifications and Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms as necessary to comply with legal requirements or improve our services. Material changes will be communicated to active clients through email notification or posted notices.

Continued use of our services after Terms modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
